Agribrasil advances in the project of the subsidiary Humberg Agribrasil Bioenergia S.A.

São Paulo, March the 8th, 2022. Humberg Agribrasil Comércio e Exportação de Grãos S.A. (“Agribrasil”, “Company” – B3 (Brazilian Stock Market Exchange): GRAO3), pursuant to Resolution CVM # 44, from August 23rd, 2021, informs that it has signed an equipment and engineering purchase agreement with ICM, Inc. (“ICM”) advancing in the project of the subsidiary Humberg Agribrasil Bioenergia S.A. (“Agribrasil Bioenergia”).
ICM is a global leader in the biofuels industry with roots in the farming community. For more than 25 years, ICM has offered design, engineering, manufacturing, implementation, and plant support, all of which are tailored to better operational efficiencies for biorefineries.
From the agreement execution, Agribrasil advances to another step in its expansion project for grain processing started in 2019.
The Company intends to start the construction of a modern industrial facility in Mato Grosso capable to grind up to 1,700 tons of corn per day, which would allow the production of up to 260 million liters of anhydrous ethanol per year.
Currently, Brazil is one of the three largest corn producers and, therefore, has great potential to produce ethanol from that grain, which, in addition to being a renewable alternative to fossil fuels, can meet the growing energy demand worldwide.
Agribrasil will keep the market duly informed about any new information regarding the matter dealt with in this Relevant Fact.
